The New York State English Language Arts (ELA) Test is given to third grade students in April. Test preparation is part of the curriculum.
Research
Students will use technology to research various topics using several data bases. They will also participate in the NYS Social Studies Inquiries with The Library Media Specialist.

• Represent and solve problems involving
multiplication and division.
• Understand properties of multiplication and
the relationship between multiplication and

• Multiply and divide within 100.
• Solve problems involving the four operations,
and identify and explain patterns in arithmetic.
Measurement and Data
• Solve problems involving measurement and
estimation of intervals of time, telling time to the hour and quarter hour, elapsed time, liquid volumes,

The New York Math Test 3 is given to 3rd grade students in the Spring.
